It is recommended that before starting any exercise program, you receive a physical from your Doctor. Also since there are recommended foods on this page, please have your Doctor check for any food allergies that you might have. If your Doctor disapproves of the information on this site, then you obviously have a Doctor who is very ignorant in regards to Health and Nutrition, and you should immediately replace him/her with one that has at least a basic understanding.

I would also suggest that you find a good Chiropractor to get yourself properly aligned. It makes no sense to exercise and build a body that is not properly balanced and aligned. High Protein Diets have gained popularity lately and have sold lots of related books. But these diets are destroying the health of uninformed people. Too much protein produces an excess of Ammonia which damages kidneys, liver and the brain before the body has a chance to turn it into the less harmful urea, as well as causing many other problems. These diets are very harmful and should be avoided.
The best way to lose fat, restore youth and live a quality healthy, disease free life is going back to the basics. You must eat the natural, unprocessed, vitamin, mineral and fiber rich foods and drink pure water. You must also dedicate yourself to exercising your amazing body regularly.
When you eat processed, high cholesterol, high fat foods you are clogging your arteries with plaque. Your heart then strains trying to pump blood through a smaller clogged hole. Most 30 year olds couldn’t swim 50 yards, let alone pulling anything.
Jack LaLane also ate an extremely natural diet and exercised regularly. I really doubt he woke up that 70th birthday morning and had bacon, sausage, greasy, buttery hash browns and eggs with white toast for breakfast with a glass of milk and a cup of coffee.
Key to youth and a trimmer body
The key to youth and a trimmer body is activity. I have an uncle who is 85 years old and to this day continues to play tennis every morning. This man looks great and feels great too. He is very active and although he does not have the strength or stamina as he did when he was 30, you would never be able to tell that he is well over 80.
His secret?.... Activity!!! He plays tennis daily and is dedicated to it. He goes for walks and eats well. That’s the secret! You must live an active lifestyle. Now you don’t have to run marathons or work out in the gym for 2 hours every day. You just need to be active, and walking is one of the best and easiest forms of exercise you can do.
Do whatever activity you can, whenever you have a chance and it will pay off. I saw my Uncle a few years ago and asked him if he was still driving. He defensively looked at me and said, “Well why the hell wouldn’t I be driving?” You see, just because someone is older doesn’t mean they have to stop living and doing the normal things in life, as well as having fun.
